whew!
I just today got my PowerBook back from the shop. Bad Hard disk, you know. I have yet to restore my data, but I am up and running again, so look forward to seeing more activity here.

So, what kind of data do you restore from your back? What kind of shop does one take one's back, and leave it there?

sorry, forgot the space between my open tag operand and the first qualifier, but, it was late. You know how it is...
Should have bought a PC instead of a MAC. What we're you thinking.
What I should have done is fix it myself, rather than buy the extended warranty. I could have been up quicker, bigger drive for less $, and learned how to do it. I also could have bought a more expensive backup drive, that I could boot from, rather than the cheap one i bought. Still, it is a good drive, and i was able to restore my system in less than 2 hours, which is pretty good to some others I know about.
